My Fox Control Program35 viewsJimmy and Millie work hard, 24 hours a day, guarding my flocks from the ravages of Mr Fox and Mr Rat. They love a good hunt and that includes anything small and fluffy, including feral cats and stray dogs. Although they are canines, they are very much a part of my poultry program and I don't think I could do it without them. Gold stars to them both! (BTW, Jimmy is the Brindle, Millie is the Black). 2_youngest_pekins_born_12_3_08.jpg
This is a photo of the 2 pekins born 12.3.08. Notice that the one in front has better wing feathers than the one behind. Does this indicate one in front a girl and one behind a boy?56 views12721 commentsCOUNTY LODGE

Bellsouth 100 Tough & Tropical388 viewsThe additions/modifications I've made to my incubator. Hopefuly the semi auto thingy works when there are eggs in it. The idea is to pull the string on one end in the morning then pull the other end at night, moving the turner which rolls the eggs. I still have to figure out how I'm going to fit the thermometer in there so it doesn't stop the turner from turning.
