Aquaponic Goose Pond45 viewsThe goose's pond is also the sump for the hydroponic system. Water is pumped from the pond to the hydro bed with an ordinary 1500 lph pond pump tied inside a (white) feed sack. The feed sack stops the pump from getting clogged with sand, poo and other debris and also stops the geese from playing with it, chewing the cord etc. The water is gravity fed through the bed which has a slight (approx 1/100) gradient. The blue handled tap is to control the flow into the hydroponic system. GUINEITH
